reads like an analysis is that it's explaining why it couldn't do one.

So there is nothing to base an article on. Producing 1782 words "based on" this would mean inventing a title, a source, quotes, figures, and events — i.e. fabricating blockchain news. That's the one thing I won't do silently.
Three viable paths
A. Paste the source article (recommended) Give me the raw text. I'll do the deconstruction myself (claims → evidence → source quality → stance → time sensitivity) and then write the 1782-word English piece from that, with attribution intact.
B. Paste the real Stage-1 JSON The pipeline output before it broke. Minimum viable:
{
"title": "...",
"source": "...",
"type": "news|research|opinion|tutorial|announcement",
"core": { "summary": "...", "stance": "...", "purpose": "..." },
"points": [ { "claim": "...", "evidence": "...", "source_quality": "primary|secondary|unsourced" } ]
}
points is the load-bearing field. Without it, every downstream section is guesswork.
C. Change the deliverable If you don't have a source and just need ~1782 words of English blockchain copy, say so and name the topic. I can write an explainer or analysis on a real, well-documented subject (e.g. how restaking risk layers propagate, what EIP-7702 changes for account abstraction) — no invented quotes, no invented numbers, no fake "according to sources." That's honest filler for a CMS slot, but it is not news, and it shouldn't be labeled as reporting.
Also worth fixing upstream
The failure modes listed in your paste are the right suspects. The most likely one: the extraction step returned an empty points array and the formatter substituted a template. If your pipeline treats "empty array" as a valid success state, this will keep happening. Add a hard gate — reject any Stage-1 output where points.length === 0 or core.summary is empty, and fail loudly instead of passing the skeleton downstream.

Tell me which path, and for A or B I'll deliver the full 1782 words in one pass.
